Too many usb gadgets may be the source of the issue (all of my usb slots are full) try unplugging unnecessary usb tools.

Update: Tested with only mouse, keyboard, and xbox 360 wireless adapter plugged in.

I did try this at some point before using DDU and still had a crash, but will try again now that I've attempted other troubleshooting steps. Though this won't solve the issues (since I would like to use my TV to game), it'll at least narrow down the source of the issue. Disconnect TV as second monitor and see if the driver timeout issues stop.

Update: Tested and still got the driver time out.

Others online have suggested mild underclocking as well.

Set up a custom profile and limit the power draw to the card and undervolt it. Details at bottom of post added to troubleshooting techniques.
